Welcome to the Homepage of the Attleboro Rotary Auction.
For 55 years, the Attleboro Rotary Club has conducted an annual charity
auction. Our first event was a live auction held in the Grange Hall on Locust
St, Attleboro, MA. In the 1950’s the auction became a radio auction and in
the 1980’s a radio/cable auction. In 2008, the auction jumped into the 21st
Century by featuring online bidding and became the Annual Attleboro Rotary
Cable/Internet Auction.
The 2012 Auction will again feature online bidding beginning at midnight on
Sunday, March 11, 2012 and continuing through the live auction on Monday,
March 19, 2011. Starting at 7:00PM through 10:00 PM, DoubleACS channel 15
will carry the live Auction when bids will also be taken by phone at 508-226-1540.
Online bidders must register before they can bid.
All items to be auctioned will be listed on this website. In addition a listing
of most items will be printed in full-page ads in The Sun Chronicle Newspaper
During the March 19st live Auction, phone bids will be taken in time segments of
ten minutes for regular Items and thirty minutes for the higher value Super Special
Items. Online bids will continue to be taken through each time segment. Online
bidding and phone bidding both stop at the end of the time segment assigned to each
item. After each time segment winners will be announced and also posted on this
website.
Winners can pick up their items at The Attleboro Industrial Museum,
located at 42 Union St. in Attleboro, Tue-Thu from 11 AM to 7 PM.
